As a freelance journalist,
Susanne commits herself to establishing a connection
of respect and integrity with editors and interviewees. She
promises to do her best to meet or beat deadlines, and to
ask questions in ways that assist people to relax and express
what they want to say. Susanne has written articles for Newsweek
(Japan), The Cleveland Plain Dealer, Marriage Partnership, Strengthening
Marriage, Massage, Crain's Cleveland Business,
and others. She was associate editor and staff writer for
The Shifting Times for two years. She is a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors and a past board member of the Cleveland Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
Susanne's interest in relationships has
led to her training as a relationship/marriage coach and co-founding Marriage Transformation LLC with
her husband, Craig A. Farnsworth. They lead relationship, pre-marriage, and marriage strengthening workshops for
individuals and couples and provide relationship-coaching
services. She is also available as a speaker
to give introductory talks and workshops.
Susanne also has extensive experience as a book editor.
