This can also go at the bottom of the story.) DOCUMENT CHECKLIST - Editor's name spelled correctly - Spelling checked - Grammar checked - Proofread - Read out loud for smooth flow - Read by someone else for clarity - All key facts checked SUBMISSION METHOD The method used for submitting stories to editors is different for each publication. Ask the editor before submitting it. Most publications can now accept electronic submissions. Many prefer to have the article in the text of the email message rather than as an attachment. Some, however, prefer it as an attached Word file. ©Susanne M. Alexander, Western Reserve Writer's Mini-Conference, March 23, 2002 [an error occurred while processing this directive] |
